MATHS AND SCIENCE EXHIBITION

The Maths and Science Exhibition of the academic year was organized in the school auditorium on 5th and 6th October. Students presented their mathemagical skills and scientific talents through various projects and models. Some of the projects like ’Home made Thermometer’, ’Robots’, ’Chandrayan’ and ’Biodiesel’ were really outstanding. The best projects were selected on the basis of the students’ presentation, innovation, and knowledge of the subject.
In Grades (4-6) category, the science project ’Optical Illusion’ by Hina Kausar Kazi and Ayesha Hizbullah Kazi of 6 A won first prize. In Grades (7-8) category, ’Pneumatic Brake’ by Parth Himanshu Desai and Mustafa S.Gandhi of 8 C was declared first. The first prize in Grades (9-12) category was taken by ’Robotics’ of Class 12 boys Brendan Lopez, Tushar Kapoor and Abdul Rehman. In Mathematics, the project ’Angle Sum Property of a triangle’ prepared by Richard Regi Raju and Alan Brian Fernandes of 6 D won first prize in Grades (5-6) category.In Grades (7-8) category , ’Is Red or Blue longer?’ by Bhavna Pradeep Gangwani and Jayalakshmi Harikrishnan Mololath of 8 A won first prize. ’ To solve a Quadratic Equation by completing the Square’ by Romeo D’Souza and Rishikesh Mololath Harikrishnan of 10 C was declared first in Grades (9-12) category.
